Kevin Panowicz, tool and die maker machinist, Production Plant Barstow, fits a part he is designing for a rifle mount bracket for a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle at the Marine Depot Maintenance Command facility aboard the Yermo Annex of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Aug. 2. He operates the vertical milling machine behind him to make parts as well as specialized tools used to fit other parts to a vehicle frame.
