Landing signal officers frantically wave off an E-2C Hawkeye from the Black Eagles of Airborne Early Warning Squadron 113 from its final approach to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan due to fouled-deck conditions. Experienced off-duty pilots from embarked Carrier Air Wing 14 take turns standing as landing signal officers, offering direct instruction to a safe landing.
