Oregon Army National Guard Spc. Ryan Dowell, a crew chief with 1st Battalion, 168th Aviation Regiment, connects wiring for a Bambi Bucket valve through a hatch opening inside a CH-47 Chinook helicopter in support of firefighting efforts at the Whitewater Fire at a helibase near the Mount Jefferson Wilderness Area on August 5, 2017.
