170806-N-SF508-668 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 6, 2017) A Sailor assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 2, Expeditionary Mine Countermeasures Company (ExMCM Co.) 202, pilots a Seabotix Remote Operated Vehicle while searching for a simulated mine during an ExMCM training exercise. ExMCM Co. 202 consists of an EODMU 2 MCM platoon, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2 Unmanned Systems Platoon, and the Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center (NOMWC) Post Mission Analysis Cell. EODMU 2 provides credible, combat-ready EOD forces capable of deploying anywhere, anytime in support of national interests.
