NEW CASTLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Del. - Members of the 166th Security Forces Squadron gather to set up a temporary entry control point during an exercise scenario on August 5, 2017. Exercise Vigilant Diamond took place from August 4th – 5th 2017. Response capabilities of base personnel were tested during simulated events that arose during various phases of the exercise. Members of the Delaware Air National Guard responded to incidents including an active shooter incident, hazardous materials incident, and explosive ordinance device sighting.
