George "Vaughn" Brown, commander of the 83rd Troop Command, who recently visited the 2-111th AVN (AOB) as they conducted their annual training at Camp Grayling during Operation Northern Strike, Aug. 4, 2017. Operation Northern Strike is a two-week exercise that assesses the working knowledge of air-to-ground forces between the U.S.Army, Air Force and Marine units from around the country, as well as military personnel from other countries including Latvia, Great Britain, and Poland.
