A machine gun team from 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment lays down suppressing fire from their support by fire position while their remaining squads maneuver towards their objective during a platoon live fire at Vaziani Training Area in Vaziani, Georgia, Aug. 5, 2017. The live fire was observed by a congressional delegation that was visiting Exercise Noble Partner. Noble Partner 17 is a European Rotational Force exercise of Georgia's light infantry company contribution to the NATO Response Force. The exercise provides participating nations with the opportunity to train in a multinational environment while enhancing cooperation and interoperability during realistic and challenging training events.
