Christopher Sansone stands outside his home in West Milford, N.J., July 24, 2017, where he practices playing the Flute two hours every day to prepare himself for the Marine Corps Band. Sansone has taken the oath of enlistment to become a United States Marine and will play in the Marine Corps Band. In preparation for the challenges of Marine Corps Recruit Training, Sansone will work with a Marine Corps recruiter to prepare himself physically and mentally.
