Images: 'Flying Tigers' retract claws; 'Ironhorse' assumes heavy-lift responsibility [Image 1 of 3]

Lt. Col. Scott Wadle, the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 "Ironhorse's" commanding officer, and Sgt. Maj. Rodolfo Graham, the squadron's sergeant major, unfurl the squadron's battle colors at a transfer of authority ceremony aboard Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, Feb. 1. The HMH-361 "Flying Tigers" passed responsibility as the CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift squadron to HMH-461 Ironhorse. While in Afghanistan, the Flying Tigers transported more than 8.7 million pounds of Marine Air Ground Task Force assets and more than 37,000 coalition forces in support of combat operations.
