    'Flying Tigers' retract claws; 'Ironhorse' assumes heavy-lift responsibility

    The guide for Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461 stands at parade rest with the squadron's guidon at a transfer of authority ceremony aboard Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, Feb. 1. The HMH-361 "Flying Tigers" passed responsibility as the CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift squadron to HMH-461 "Ironhorse." While in Afghanistan, the Flying Tigers transported more than 8.7 million pounds of Marine Air Ground Task Force assets and more than 37,000 coalition forces in support of combat operations.
