Senior Airman Michael Kushma, deployed from the 1st Combat Communications Squadron at Ramstein AB, Germany, stands near a bonfire with soldiers and airmen assigned to Task Force Currahee, 4th Brigade, 101st Airborne Division, in order to stay warm at Forward Operating Base Waza K'wah, Paktika province, Afghanistan. The bonfire is a weekly ritual where both army and air force members gather together to relax and enjoy each others company and help lift morale. The four airmen assigned to the FOB help provide communications support.
