Battle Group Poland’s Eagle Troop validated its readiness and capability as part of its Squad Live Fire exercise at Bemowo Piskie Training Area July 16-20. Squads were observed and evaluated as they conducted troop movement, call for fire support, mortar fire and withdrawal tactics. All battle group U.S., U.K. and Romanian soldiers conduct regular training along with the Polish 15th Mechanized Brigade to ensure they are combat-ready to carry out their allied mission to deter adversaries, and when necessary, defend the eastern part of the NATO alliance.
