Competitors in the Bastion Half Marathon make their way along the 13.1-mile course Jan. 29 aboard Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan. More than 420 runners participated in the event, which raised more than $6,300 (nearly 4,000 pounds) for charity.
