Two separate times the Naval Air Station Oceana’s Aerial Demonstration F/A-18 Super Hornet took to the skies to practice the maneuvers they would perform over a live audience the following day for the Sentry Eagle Open House, July 21, 2017 at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Unlike other jets on the ramp, the Navy aircraft taxied off the ramp space with its cockpit glass raised. Sentry Eagle is a four day large force exercise that brings together different aircraft and units from around the country for dissimilar air combat training. Additionally, the wing opens its gates to the public for a day during their biennial open house. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt. Jefferson Thompson)
