U.S. Marines with the Command Element and Logistics Combat Element, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, pose for a photo with families from the Municipality of Jutiapa and service members of the Guatemalan Armed Forces during a community relations event in Jutiapa, Guatemala, July 22, 2017. Partnered with the Guatemalan Armed Forces, the Marines spent the afternoon interacting with local children and families through a soccer game, piñatas and a dance competition. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are deployed to Central America to conduct security cooperation training and engineering projects with their counterparts in Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
