Cadet pilots in Class 76 at the Iraqi Air Force College, Tikrit, Iraq, march to class outside an academic building on the school’s campus. 151 young men began training in September 2010 as part of the first class at the recently reopened academy. The 3-year program lays the foundation for the future of self-sufficient air power in Iraq with studies in airmanship, English, avionics, and the theory of aviation.
