Sgt. Jason Cottle, a wheeled vehicle mechanic assigned to 1/201st Field Artillery, West Virginia Army Guard, was promoted to the rank of sergeant during a promotion ceremony at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Jan. 21. Capt. Shawn Pratt, C Company commander, replaced Cottle's specialist rank with sergeant rank and welcomed him to the corps of non-commissioned officers.
