Sgt. Andrew Brooks, a wheeled vehicle mechanic assigned to 1/201st Field Artillery, West Virginia Army Guard, was promoted to the rank of sergeant during a promotion ceremony at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Jan. 21. After receiving his new rank, Brooks was congratulated by his fellow soldiers and welcomed into the Corps of Non-commissioned officers.
