The 35th Civil Support Team assigned to the West Virginia National Guard scan for radiation in an apartment complex in Morgantown, W.Va., July 22, as part of the special focus event, Operation Dawson Storm, a multi-location training exercise in West Virginia. The West Virginia National Guard conducted the training exercise July 20-25 in Preston, Monongalia and Kanawha counties. Military units and civilian emergency response agencies participated in the exercise designed to simulate emergencies such as chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) incidents and a natural disaster.
