PACIFIC OCEAN (July 19, 2017) - Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Jesse Stinnett, assigned to Helicopter Submarine Maritime (HSM) 47 Detachment 4 "Players", conducts a pre-flight check on an MH-60R helicopter on the flight deck of USS Chaffee (DDG 90). Chaffee is deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of responsibility in support of UNITAS 2017. UNITAS is an annual exercise that focuses on strengthening our existing regional partnerships and encourages establishing new relationships through the exchange of maritime mission-focused knowledge and expertise throughout the exercise.
