MISAWA, Japan (July 20, 2017) Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Destiny Peaker, a native of Lake Isabella, Calif., prepares to signal an MH-53 Sea Dragon attached to the "Vanguards" of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14, while taking part in a mine countermeasure exercise. The annual bilateral exercise will take place between the U.S. and Japan from July 17 to 31, with the goal of strengthening interoperability and mine countermeasure capabilities.
