An F-15E Strike Eagle receives fuel from a KC-10 Extender with the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron July 19, 2017, over an undisclosed location in southwest Asia. Although the KC-10's primary mission is aerial refueling, it can combine the tasks of tanker and cargo aircraft by refueling fighters and simultaneously carry the fighter support personnel and equipment on overseas deployments.
