On 26 January 2007, a Marine with Combat Logistics Battalion-1, explains the success they have had in the area of the Wadi Harwan Bridge, to Marines from the Regimental Combat Team-2 Command Element. RCT-2 is deployed with I Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) in support of Operation Iraq Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market base economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
