On 26 January 2007, Regimental Combat Team-2, Regimental Commanding Officer, Colonel Clardy (left), RCT-2, Operations Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Manning, and RCT-2, Regimental Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Hope access the Wadi Harwan Bridge, during a brief stop during a convey to Al Haqlaniyah. RCT-2 is deployed with I Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) in support of Operation Iraq Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market base economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
