Spc. Philip Flint, an infantryman with the Maryland Army National Guard’s B Company, 1st Battalion, 175th Infantry Regiment, navigates an obstacle on the Camp Ripley, Minn., confidence course while competing in the 2017 Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition, Tuesday, July 18, 2017. The competition is a mentally and physically challenging three-day event that tests Soldiers on a variety of tactical and technical skills to determine the Army Guard’s Soldier and noncommissioned of the year.
