SAN DIEGO – Educators from South Texas on the flight deck of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during Navy Recruiting District San Antonio’s annual Educators Orientation Visit (EOV). The EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program with a main focus of showing educators the various facets of the Navy and the many career paths available to students. The group visited Naval Base San Diego, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron THREE FIVE (HSM-35), BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) Training at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, the Pacific Beacon Navy Billeting, the Fleet Readiness Center, Coastal Riverine Group ONE, and the Navy Exchange.
