Physical Training Instructors demonstrate the proper way to maneuver the obstacle course to the 2017 Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy (SLCDA) participants at Officer Candidates School aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., July 17. Nearly 200 high school students negotiated the O-Course their visit to OCS. The SLCDA is a six-day summer program designed to prepare rising high school juniors and seniors for college by introducing them to Marine Corps skills, ethics, character development, teamwork and camaraderie.
