Col. David Jordan, commander of the U.S. Army’s 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Miller, noncommissioned officer in charge of the 45th IBCT, bid farewell to two Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th IBCT at the Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport in Lviv, Ukraine, on 26 June. 1st Bn., 179th Inf. Regt. spent the last six months as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine, an international coalition dedicated to improving the training capacity of the Ukrainian army and building professionalism within the ranks through the development of Yavoriv Combat Training Center, Ukraine’s first CTC.
