SAN DIEGO – Chicago native Mass Communications Specialist 2nd Class Zackary Landers, Journalism Work Center supervisor assigned to USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), briefs educators from South Texas on the capabilities of the nuclear powered aircraft carrier during Navy Recruiting District San Antonio’s annual Educators Orientation Visit (EOV). Landers, a master helmsman, is a graduate of Coal City High School and join the Navy in 2014. The EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program with a main focus of showing educators the various facets of the Navy and the many career paths available to students.
