    Soldiers of the New York National Guard's 69th Infantry Regiment leave their armory on Lexington Avenue in New York City on August, 20, 1917 on their way to Camp Mills outside Garden City, N.Y. on Long Island where the units of the 42n Infantry Division-- the Rainbow Division-- were directed to mobilize for training.
