Col. Laura Lenderman, Scott Air Force Base installation commander, celebrates her two-year command of the 375th Air Mobility Wing through a fini flight, July 10, 2017. Lenderman grew up on Scott AFB as a child, where her father served at Headquarters Military Airlift Command and inspired her to follow the same military path while creating her own legacy. As the installation celebrates its 100th year, standing as the Air Force's third oldest base, Lenderman leaves behind a legacy of caring for Airmen, strengthening community partnerships, and instilling innovation, communication, and excellence (ICE) principles into the stitchings of the Scott AFB mission.
