A bomb explodes after being dropped from an F-15 fighter jet, Dec. 29 on "Hellfire Ridge," a mountain across from Combat Outpost Najil here. The air strike brought an end to what had been the largest attack against Company A, 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment, Task Force Ironman, part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Task Force Red Bulls, soldiers at COP Najil. No U.S. forces were injured during the attack.
