A MK VI patrol boat, belonging to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1 Detachment Guam, transits off the coast of Guam to participate in a medical evacuation drill with the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 (HSC) 25 July 10, 2017. CRG-1 and HSC-25 are currently testing their interoperability capabilities to enhance their collective maritime mission. Coastal Riverine Force (CRF) is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides the additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, theater security cooperation, and high value unit protection.
