U.S. Army Capt. Matthew Kikta, commander, assigned to Alpha Battery, 3rd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Advise and Assist Brigade, 4th Infantry Division helps the Iraqi police clear the surrounding area of possible threats prior to a visit by U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Randal Dragon, Deputy Chief of Staff of Support, assigned to 1st Infantry Division and Mr. Peter Bodde, Assistant Chief of Mission for Assistance Transition in Iraq, to the Maysan Surgical Hospital site, Maysan, Iraq, Nov. 28, 2010. The project was a joint U.S. and Iraqi forces effort to provide better medical care to the region in support of operation New Dawn.
