Petty Officer 3rd Class Keith Roman, construction mechanic, of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 Det. Maiwand unloads gear after returning to Camp Leatherneck. The Seabees of Det. Maiwand returned Dec. 25 after being outside the safety of Camp Leatherneck for 17 days as they built a base for British forces. NMCB 3 is part of the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command’s warfighting support elements, providing construction operations and security in support of overseas contingency operations.
