WATERS OFF GUAM (June 30, 2017) U.S. Navy Hospitalman Andre Beckford, from Nashville, Tenn., assigned to the "Blue Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146, works on the flight deck as the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) travels in formation with the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), June 30, 2017, in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is currently on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
