U.S Soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Brigade attempt to cross a simulated barrier set up by the U.S. Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment role-playing a hostile crowd while conducting a freedom of maneuver detachment during a Kosovo Force (KFOR) mission rehearsal exercise (MRE) at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, July 1, 2017. The KFOR MRE 23 is designed to prepare the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team for their deployment to Kosovo in support of civil authorities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
