Petty Officer 3rd Class Julie Woodfill, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, rides a snowboard down a sand dune while on liberty in the desert outside of Dubai. Several thousand Sailors enjoyed a host of activities while Abraham Lincoln was in port in Jebel Ali, including camel rides, shopping, and tours of the area. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
