Lt. Gen. Jon Davis listens to the pre-flight action brief conducted by Col. John Rahe at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., June 30, 2017. Davis joined the Marine Corps in May of 1980 and became a certified pilot on the AV-8A Harrier in September of 1982. Davis is the deputy commandant for aviation.
