U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, conduct maintenance on an F/A-18C Hornet during scheduled phase maintenance at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 27, 2017. When aircraft go through phase maintenance, mechanics are able to perform in-depth maintenance to enhance the welfare of the aircraft.
