A pair of flamingos walk toward the bank of Weekly Pond June 23 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. According to a Jackson Guard biologist, the flamingos may be here because they were caught in a storm or seeking shelter from a weather front. This is the first time flamingos have been seen at Eglin AFB. (U.S. Air Force photo/Ilka Cole)
