Staff Sgt. John Karambelas with the 327th Military Police Battalion and Staff Sgt. Michael L. Dye, with the 447th MP Company, both U.S. Army Reserve military police and interservice, non-leathal weapons insructors, set out Tasers and live cartridges for Taser certification during Guardian Justice at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, June 22. Guardian Justice is a functional exercise, broken down into two-week cycles, centered on squad and team-level training with a focus on internment, resettlement, detainee operations and combat support. During each two-week cycle, Soldiers train on internment operations, weapons qualification, biometrics, reflexive fire, Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain (MOUT), non-lethal Tasers, MP battle drills and situational training exercises.
