Combat Cargo Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31 chain a tractor to the well deck of the USS Ashland (LSD 48) in the Pacific Ocean, June 10, 2017. As the Logistics Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, CLB-31 supports a variety of combat and non-combat missions, including humanitarian assistance/disaster relief. The 31st MEU partners with the Navy’s Amphibious Squadron 11 to form the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group.
