PACIFIC OCEAN (June 22, 2017) Airmen Seth Petrina, left, and Chanovan Knox direct an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Eightballers" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a replenishment-at-sea in the Pacific Ocean. Nimitz is on an underway period in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations. The U.S. Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
