Over 700 people participated in the 5th annual March for the Fallen at Fort Indiantown Gap on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Participants competed in a 28-mile "Path to Honor" route with a 35 pound minimum rucksack/backpack and uniform, a light division with no weight requirement, an 18-mile "Hawk Watch Challenge" with heavy and light divisions and a 5K and 1K run. Each year this community event is held to honor the memory of those that have fallen in defense of our nation.
