Sailors assigned to the air department of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz store food donated from the community at an area church during a community service project. Sailors filled backpacks with food and school supplies to be distributed to children throughout the community. Nimitz is at homeport at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton for a docking planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
