Volunteers from the Lakewood/Denver Colorado area pose for a group photo after spending the day as simulated injured role-player during a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Enhanced Response Force Package exercise in Lakewood, Colo., June 3, 2017. The Colorado National Guard CERFP team of more than 100 CONG Soldiers/Airman, First Responders, evaluators, and role-players, in conjunction with the West Metro Fire District, participated in this major emergency response exercise involving simulated exposure to contaminated environments, collapsed structures and medical triage, giving CONG members the most realistic experience possible if their specialized skills are ever needed in a real world situation.
