Spc. Jastin Vinijchaikul, satellite communication systems operator-maintainer, and Spc. Patrick Cho, multichannel transmission systems operator-maintainer, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 4th Infantry Division Artillery, bump into one another in a game of bubble soccer at Fort Carson, June 16, 2017. The Fort Carson Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program put on a single-Soldier day for Soldiers across post providing catering, entertainment and an opportunity to interact with fellow Soldiers in a relaxed environment. Attractions at the event included: disc jockeys, music, stage, bubble soccer, sports, inflatable surfboard simulation and gladiator ring. Soldiers let loose on the lawn of Pershing Field as they competed in a lip-sync sing off and tossed around footballs and Frisbees. The BOSS program’s mission is to enhance the morale and welfare of single Soldiers facilitated through its three core components of maintaining a balanced life: leisure and recreation, community service and quality of life.
