Ryan Goforth, explosive ordnance disposal specialists, 663rd Ordnance Company (EOD), 242nd Ordnance Battalion (EOD), 71st Ordnance Group (EOD) run toward the finish of the ruck march event for the EOD Team of the Year competition at Fort Carson, Colorado, June 16, 2017. The 71st EOD hosted the EOD Team of the Year competition. The purpose of the competition is to determine the best EOD team from within the group’s footprint across the western United States through tests of warrior tasks, battle drills and scenarios that challenge the competitors' technical competencies.
