Mrs. Roxana Opris, principal of the Voila School District, presents a plaque to Lt. Col. Nicole Davis of the 926th Engineer Brigade in the Voila Secondary School on 15 June 2017. A Romanian-U.S., civil-military cooperation team of the U.S. 83rd Civil Affairs Battalion and Romanian 1st CIMIC Battalion identified technological needs for the school district and facilitated the donation of laptops and projectors from Spirit of America to the district. Atlantic Resolve and Resolute Castle 17 are exercises strengthening the NATO alliance and enhancing its capacity for joint training and response to threats within the region.
